Katey is a founding a member and partner of Powell Law Group, PLLC.  Katey has been  named a “Top Attorney” by her peers in Fort Worth Magazine every year since 2012.  She graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern State University (Natchitoches, Louisiana) in 2004. After graduating from Northwestern State University, she  enrolled at Texas A&M University School of Law (formerly known as Texas Wesleyan School of Law) where she graduated in the top 20% of her class. Prior to Powell Law Group PLLC, Katey was a partner at a national law firm, and also worked in-house with a private equity company.  Katey is licensed in Texas and Pennsylvania. Katey focuses her career on helping her clients navigate through their individual needs.  Katey’s utmost priorities are accuracy and efficiency, and each day she strives to ensure these priorities are the foundation of the legal services provided by Powell Law Group, PLLC.

Katey enjoys serving her community and has served as President of the Texas A&M School of Law Alumni Association, the Tarrant County Women’s Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas- Young Professionals in Energy Board, and most recently as the Chair of the Extravaganza Auction for Fort Worth Academy.  Katey also enjoys spending time with her husband and their two boys.
